"Why Pete ... what a handsome fella you are."

"Thank you, kind homeowner who doesn't own a dog and who asks her husband not to shoooo me away while I sit on your lovely patio and watch the O'Reilly Report, and who allows me to come and go as I please."

"Pete, what handsome feathers you have, too."

"Yes, I know. I'm God's gift to the female species ... if only I could find one in this neck of the woods."

"Pete, what big toe nails you have. Have you ever considered a pedicure and luxurious spa treatment? The ladies might come running for a metrosexual self-aware peacock in this neck of the woods. Just a suggestion ..."

"Huh ? ? "

Pete and Re-pete ! Welcome back.
We've missed your handsome selves since last summer. Where have you been? You had an open invitation to our daughter's wedding. She was hoping you two would stop by and visit with our garden wedding guests. And the photographers were waiting for you, too. You know, they never quite believed us when we said you were frequent visitors to our patios. (See that HERE)
But never mind ... welcome back and please remember we like to sleep past 6:30 a.m. before you two handsome rascals begin your squawking for the day.

Gracie has made the decision to go south for the winter. South ... as up to the master bedroom where luxurious bedsheets and comfy surroundings seduce her on cold mornings. She'd prefer no one know her whereabouts until around noon.

"Leave me alone, and don't even think about making this bed yet."
There's been a time or two when the covers were pulled and the bed made, and she was sleeping at the bottom of the sheets. That's when you know her bed in the garage would not be an option for that particular morning ... no matter how much sweet-talkin you did.

"Pleeeeezzzzz"
She's very polite.
